Cancer Cure Advocacy Self-Help
(This website is currently being created but here you can get an general idea of what we are about while the masterpiece is still in the oven)
CCASH Group – A New Era of HOPE for Cancer Patients and their Families
Who We Are:
CCASH (Cancer Cure Advocacy Self Help group) is made up of cancer patients and families who want to be proactive participants in healing their cancer.
We seek cures.
We believe the impossible because we have seen the impossible (stage 4 full of tumors to cancer free and full of hope) over and over again.
We are observing, we are learning…we are taking action.
CCASH was formed in July 2020 by Christine Caridi-Jones and Graeme Jones after Christine was diagnosed with both Breast and Kidney Cancer.
What We Do:
In a nutshell, we provide a support group that dares to push the boundaries of a traditional support group. We seek the cure and support each other through that process. We connect with each other in person, through whatsapp groups and via video calls. We share life. Have fun.
The objectives of CCASH, which are written into our constitution, are as follows:
1) To advocate for a cure for cancer. (Yes, we use that word). We are a force for change in the greater cancer community
2) To nurture and promote a community (called CCASH) which offers support for people, and their loved ones, who are living with cancer.
3) To create a space for the CCASH community to share their experiences, generate ideas and provide support in areas that are important to them.
4) To provide a forum for members to meet both in person and on-line during which specialist speakers and members are invited to either present their knowledge or share their experiences with the group.
5) To provide financial assistance to individuals with cancer in need of help with treatment or groups of people or organisations in support of their efforts to alleviate the effects of cancer.
6) To share and support research into the relief of the effects of cancer and to ultimately stay free of the disease.
7) To help individuals to experience the “joy of living” even after their cancer diagnosis. This may include special events, retreats, online experiences and more.
We recommend you read Jane McLelland’s book, “How to Starve Cancer Without Starving Yourself.” A link to the author’s website, where you can purchase the book:
The book provides an overview of how/why many integrative
cancer therapies are successful and having read it is strongly recommended before joining the group.
As an alternative, you may also choose to read “The Metabolic Approach to Cancer” by Nasha Winters or “Tripping Over The Truth: How the Metobolic Theory of Cancer is Overturning One of Medicine’s Most Entrenched Paradigms” by Travis Christofferson. Please read one of these books requesting to join the group.
